Today is November 24th, 13 days left to go!
What a day yesterday! Everyone arriving from various places around the world (from Hawaii to Amsterdam, and everywhere in between) and gathering together in the city. We spent some time walking the Highline with designer Jay Fletcher and friends (super kind folks), then showed up at our loft in brooklyn for the first time.

Having seen photos on AirBNB, I figured this place was pretty amazing. But I have to say... the photos online don't do it justice. This place is far larger and more beautiful than I had pictured. A good moment to thank Dropbox for the opportunity to come and stay in such a gorgeous pad.

Dan "Grayhood" Gneiding showed up with boxes full of merch that we've been working on for the weeks leading up to this trip. Matthew Tapia designed a beautiful T-shirt which will be available for purchase soon. We have stickers, lapel pins, and soon posters. More on the way!
Blog is live! Very much looking forward to this trip. More posts to come! fieldtrippost1
For seven days, a handful of Lost Type's designers will live under one roof with a common goal; to source inspiration for type and lettering from the city of New York. We'll also be visiting with the local talent and journaling our adventures on this blog. Check back for live updates!
